Room A105 Information

Please come to the Herbison Woods Open House on SEPT. 4 at 7:00----Room A105.       Meanwhile, here is some information you might find helpful: 

* Plenty of friendly adults will be in the halls to help you find your way and open your locker during the first week of school.  

* You will be given time to practice your locker combination. 

* Bottled water is allowed during hot weather.  Drinks containing sugar are not allowed because they are sticky, and they attract ants.

* We will have daily snack time in our classroom.  Snack recommendations:    fruit, half-sandwich, trailmix, crackers, or anything else that is simple, quick, and doesn't require silverware.   

* Suggested supplies for Ms. Boyd's students:

several sharpened pencils                                                                6 large, stretchy book covers                                                                                                box of crayons or markers                                                                   scissors                                                                                                   a highlighter                                                                                         a good book for silent reading                                                              1 or 2 boxes of tissues for the classroom --Thanks!!  

* All Herbison Woods students will be given DAILY PLANNER BOOKS            

Please do not bring:     1)  large containers like "Trapperkeepers" or plastic boxes--they won't fit in the desks.     2)   backpacks with wheels----all backpacks must stay in lockers, and this kind doesn't fit.  3)    antibacterial handwash---it will be provided at the sink.
